Gom Benn Village

A few hours outside major cities with millions of inhabitants, you can find small villages like Gom Benn. Families have lived here for generations; once living off the land, they now struggle to survive. Grandparents and children are left behind as parents migrate to the city to find work. Fields are plowed to make way for new highways where cars and their passengers will only end up passing them by. This is a portrait of a village — my village.
